One Click is challenging the NICE Guidelines for treating CFS in Britain's High Court.
They now have a commitment from Legal Aid to fund half the cost, and are proceeding with the lawsuit. Legal Aid is working with their barrister to obtain expert witnesses. If you had already pledged, please send in your pledge at your earliest convenience; if you haven't, please consider going to www.theoneclickgroup.co.uk and making a pledge. Even a few dollars will help.
I've asked for a copy of the legal brief they filed, and if they send it to me, I will use my professional expertise to digest it for you.
I'm hoping that when the British High Court rules that CFS is biological, not psychological, and thus psychiatric interventions are pointless, that we can wave that ruling at a US court and get them to sign onto it. (Well, it's not as simple as "here, sign this", but it should streamline our attempt at recognition of the same fact in the US to show them what has been decided by the High Court.)

Good Show !! Of course you know that American "medical" doctors will fight that because they are controlled by Big Pharma and Insurance companies... $$$$, but some David has got to slay the Goliath, right?
I just ordered some e-mags that show that breast cancer and PSA and biopsy's may very well make the cancers worse or even start them! More on that latter. I trust our 'doctors' in this once great country about as far as I can spit.. lol.

You and a million other CFS patients, Tom. There's a survey (cited in a prior blog post) showing that three-quarters of us have had at least one bad experience with doctors.
And when you tell doctors about that, they deny, deny, deny. Can't bring themselves to admit that maybe their brethren are at fault.
