It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a......... flying pig?!
Under the non-light of an eclipsed moon, the Boston Red Sox win the World Series in a sweep.
Long live Fantasyland!
<singalong> Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue, and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true!
For the first time in a long time, I have not been rooting for the Series to go the full 7 so that I (selfishly) will go the least amount of time between the end of the current season and the beginning of the next.
'Scuse me, I gotta go dig a big hole to see if Hell has indeed frozen over.

hey karen,
if i am correct, hell has finally froze over. the babe can now just be the greatest baseball player.
this should teach us all a lesson in life. if at first you do not succeed, try, try, try, again.
i am a true believer that there are lessons to be learned in life. if you don't learn them this time around, you may learn them the next. but you will keep coming back in various shapes and forms til you learn all the lessons that need to be taught. for the red sox, they learned whatever lesson it is that they were meant to learn as well as the yankees.
now as far as stem cell. i am in total agreement with this procedure as long as no child is killed in the process. it is time for people to learn that change can be a very good thing. we've gone from horse and buggy to cars. from ice boxes to frigs. from adding machines to calculators. to airplanes, to spaceships to computers. not to mention all the medical breakthroughs.
it's time now for stem cell. chris should never have had to die in vain.
